Situated in the Southern Aegean Sea, Bodrum is a holiday capital and one of the most pleasant harbours on the Turkish Riviera. We invite you to discover a rich variety of marine life in the crystal clear water surrounding the Bodrum peninsula.

TRAINING
Motif is a member of the PADI (Professional Association of Dive Instructors), Pira nr. 16980 , International Resort Assocation, CMAS (The World Underwater Federation) and the Turkish Underwater Federation (SCSPF)

Motif Diving centre is fully equipped and the most sophisticated diving facility in the area, it offers a complete range of safe quality diving services. Our team of competent and friendly instructors will make your diving both enjoyable and safe. We have English, French, Russian and German speaking guides who have extensive knowledge of the diving sites, and are all qualified PADI or CMAS Instructor or Dive-Master level.

A decompression chamber is available in Bodrum. We are fully insured by DAN

Oxygen, first aid equipment, VHF, radio and mobile phone are all available on the boat in the event of emergency.

Free transportation from your hotel to our station at World of Wonders Hotel in Gümbet is provided.
Departure daily at 10:00 am - Return approximately at 17:00 pm. Both departure and return is from World of Wonders Hotel in Gümbet. Please note the return time can vary due to the program, dive location and number of divers.)

Lunch is served on the boat - soft drinks, water, coffee and tea are available throughout the day.

BOAT
Thalassa is our 21m (68 feet) purpose built diving boat, completed in July 1998. It offers several unique features which include a glass bottom from which guest may view the fantastic underwater scenery. The main cabin is a large carpeted area with plenty of shaded space and sitting area for both dining and diving theory lectures.

"Glass bottom boat" Entry and exiting the water could not be easier from the water line platform, which is especially popular with newcomers to diving. Our Boat's chef prepares a delicious traditional Turkish lunch. Throughout the day a selection of hot and cold drinks and a choice of snacks and confectionery is available. The huge sundeck is carpet covered and has an abundance of sunbeds. It also provides an excellent viewing platform to watch the day's diving operations .1 toilet, + 1 galley, 1 large cabin, 4 staff cabins - large waterline dive platform for divers, large equipment store, large sundeck for sunbathing for non divers. 2 x 150 hp engines.

EQUIPMENT
Our centre is comprehensively equipped for all divers, from beginner to advanced level.
All equipment is regularly serviced and is frequently replaced with new kit, as a part of our ongoing maintenance programme.
Wet Suits, fins and weight belts are available in a wide range of sizes.
Stabilizing jackets (Buoyancy Control Devices) are available in a wide range of sizes and are all equipped with a direct feed system.
10L and 12L steel diving cylinders available. Regulators all include primary and octopus 2nd stages and are equipped with both contents and depth gauges. A wide range of masks and snorkels are available to suit all divers.

ACTIVITIES
Throughout the year, whether you are on holiday for 2 days or 2 weeks, Motif has programs to suit every level of diver from complete beginner to professional.

BEGINNERS
Diving is a leisure activity accessible to everyone. Discover scuba diving with a instruction and a dive with your own personal instructor available for adults and children (over 12 years)
Two day PADI Scuba Diver Course.
Four day open water courses. PADI or CMAS first level certification.

EXPLORATION DIVES
Qualification cards are required and logbooks requested.
Day trips, Night dives, Package day dives and a variety of PADI or CMAS courses from open water to dive master.

DIVE SITES
Leisure diving for beginners and certified divers. More than 18 dive sites to explore.
Reefs, walls, caves, abundance of broken pottery from ancient shipwrecks. Divers can expect to see grasse, parrot fish,groupers, sea bream, moray eels, octopus and the occasional amberjack, tuna, barracuda and ray.

The water are generally calm with no tides or currents, with crystal clear average visibility of 20-30 m.
